There's a feeling that I get from walking slowly in the dark.
If you feel the ghost come caving in, don't let it fill your heart.
I let it grow inside of me, when it said it would help.
But the only thing it brought to me, was my neck tied to the belt.
And I write these songs so I can fall asleep.
To calm my anxious thoughts, anxieties.
Guilty that I wasted time on selfish, blind pursuits.
Working past my past regrets is the only thing I do.
I wish I knew what I know now, but would it really change?
I'd still make all the same mistakes, cause I feel it's all the same.
And I write these songs so I can fall asleep.
To calm my anxious thoughts, anxieties.
